External Writer's Block

So this week, I am suffering from writer's block. No, not the kind where the words and stories won't come. I'm talking about life actively preventing me from writing. You see, I'm teaching a class at my office all week. And that sucks up ALL my writing time. I get maybe an hour at lunch if I'm very lucky.

Needless to say, it's driving me nuts!

My external writers block is known as CLIENTS. Can't live with 'em, can't have running water without 'em...

Someday, I'm gonna quit my day job and write full-time. In the meanwhile, though, the paying job I have is damned convenient because I usually work at home, I don't punch a clock, and most of the people I work with believe I'm an all-knowing, all-seeing goddess (when it comes to the company's software). It's just EVERY once in a while when I have to actually take my ass to the office and spend my time teaching actual people (instead of just WRITING the training materials) that my job sucks.
